#HondaCRV #ToyotaRAV4 – Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 Exhibit Great Comeback Against Nissan Rogue : The 2017 crossover sales crown has officially turned into a three-legged race that involves the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and also the Nissan Rogue.
The Rogue started of 2017 with a huge bang as it managed to put an end to the CR-V’s long sales streak. Unfortunately for the Rogue, it didn’t manage to soar in May last month and this is despite accomplishing 19% increment when compared to May of last year. The Rogue captured 32,533 buyers last month.
The good news here is that Nissan had just launched the Rogue Sport and they are hoping for the vehicle to push sales forward in the coming months.
Coincidentally, the Toyota RAV4 too managed to jump by 19%. The RAV4 took top spot after getting 38,356 new buyers thus assuming the role as a bestseller in Toyota’s camp for May last month.
Last but not least is the Honda CR-V. The vehicle gained 9.6% in sales that translates to 32,186 units sold. While the CR-V may be behind the Rogue and RAV4 on the numbers, its accomplishment in May is enough to send the vehicle back into top spot on the 2017 YTD chart.
