#Huawei #HuaweiP9 – Huawei P10 To Feature Daydream Support And Amazon Alexa : Huawei P9 and information about the upcoming P10 continues to surface. Huawei’s Senior VR Richard Yu has revealed some details about the P10 and P10 Plus.
During CES 2017, Richard Yu stated that the upcoming Huawei P10 and P10 Plus would arrive this spring with Amazon’s integrated voice assistant Alexa and support for Google Daydream platform, according to a new report.
The company recently announced that the Mate 9 variant set for US release is integrated with Alexa and has support for Daydream. The upcoming P10 flagship will also feature artificial intelligence technology, but the Senior VR didn’t disclose any more details about it.
Recent rumors have shown that the P10 could have a 5.5-inch 2K display and run Huawei’s Kirin 960 SoC. It might be made available in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM and the other with 6GB of RAM. Moreover, the smartphone might have a flat screen and a variant with a dual-curved display, possibly the P10 Plus.
The P10 might be the first Huawei phone with wireless charging support
The fingerprint scanner would be placed in the front, embedded in the physical home button and the P10 could be the first Huawei phone to come with wireless charging capabilities. The P10 might also incorporate Mali-G71 graphics processing unit and storage capacity might reach 256GB.
It is also rumored to come with a 12MP camera in the back, with 4k recording and HDR support, as well as an 8MP camera in the front. Obviously, Huawei is aiming at improved camera capabilities compared to the P9, it remains to be seen if the sensors on the P10 will be Leica-branded.
The smartphone could run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, which seems fitting for a flagship device. Huawei P10 and P10 Plus might be announced in March, but the company may very well unveil the new devices in April, seeing how the P9 was revealed during the fourth month of last year.
