#AlfaRomeo #MercedesAMGA45 – Next Alfa Romeo Giulietta: Picking On Mercedes-AMG A45 Pockets? : After confirming on the sales success of the Alfa Romeo Giulia for the month of May, Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles was heard teasing on a new vehicle being developed by the Turin-based manufacturer.
The tease was very subtle but it managed to get car fans to speculate on the vehicle that is in the works. For obvious reasons, FCA wasn’t referring to the Stelvio because the SUV has long been confirmed to follow up on the Giulia. Hence, it will be a third major model for Alfa and many are predicting it to be the next-gen Giulietta.
Even the industry insiders are agreeing with the prediction when they revealed that Alfa’s next plan is to boost the speed of their growth, specifically in the European market. Knowing that Europe is a big market for hatchbacks, it would make sense for Alfa to develop a new Giulietta.
If the next-gen Giulietta is to follow the Giulia and the Stelvio’s footsteps, we can look forward to seeing a Quadrifoglio hatchback coming out in the near future. Now this would be something Mercedes-AMG wouldn’t want to see come true because a 505hp Giulietta can prevent the upcoming 400hp A45 from becoming the world’s fastest hatchback.
Well, Mercedes-AMG should not worry so much because nothing is always for certain in Alfa’s camp. Even if there is going to be Giulietta QV, it will arrive later rather than sooner, thus giving the next-gen A45 ample time to shine.
