#Windows10 #Windows10Redstone3 – No New Windows 10 Redstone 3 Builds Launching : Even though everyone expected Microsoft to launch a new Windows 10 Redstone 3 build this week, it turns out this isn’t going to happen.
Dona Sarkar, the head of the Windows Insider program, said in a short tweet that no build is coming on Thursday or Friday, which means that a new release should only be expected next week.
“We don’t have enough data on our n+1 build upgrade & many are planning to take Fri off. No builds this week,” she said in the tweet.
Given that Monday Americans celebrate Memorial Day, there are big chances that a new build would only be shipped to insiders close to the middle of the week, so our bet would be Wednesday or Thursday.
On the other hand, Microsoft is expected to publish a major new build this time since it had so many days to address bugs and refine new features, so expect an exciting release next week.
Windows 10 Redstone 3 coming in the fall
At this point, the development of Windows 10 Redstone 3, officially called Fall Creators Update, is still in the early stages, so new features arrive for users at a rather slow cadence.
Development, however, is projected to accelerate as we get closer to the fall release, so more new features are likely to be shipped to insiders in the builds going live in the summer.
The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will come with a new design language called Fluent Design System, and Microsoft is also rolling it out to insiders at a slow pace, with apps getting visual effects like transparency and blur. New animations and other tweaks, however, should be there in the stable version of the OS update.
For the moment, expect more improvements to land next week, so put your feedback arsenal on pause for a few more days until Microsoft pushes the red button once again.
